Day 01: Pick-up from Airport
transfer to Hotel (Darjeeling), the famous hill station built by the British
.Check into Hotel.
Day 02: Early morning sunrise and magnificent view of the Kanchanjunga range
from Tiger Hill, Visit Ghoom Monastery. After Breakfast more sight seeing.
P.M. Optional program: Tea Plantation to see the process of preparing the
famous Darjeeling Tea or Joy ride (Toy Train). Evening walk around the Mall
and shopping.
Day 03: Transfer to Pelling (West Sikkim, 4th capital of Sikkim). Check into
Hotel. Evening walk around the village to see the local lifestyle .
Day 04: After breakfast visit Pemayangtse Monastery (Nyngmapa Sect) and
proceed for Gangtok the present Capital of Sikkim. Check in to hotel in
Gangtok
Day 05: Visit Rumtek Monastery 24kms (Kagyupa Sect 2nd head quarters of the
sect). On the way Back visit Research Institute of Tibetology and Do-Drul
Chorten. P.M. visit Enchey Monastery, Handicraft Centre, Flower show and
Tsuklakhang.
Day 06: Drive to Phodong Monastery and Labrang Monastery from Gangtok. Visit
Lepcha Village the original inhabitants of Sikkim .
Day 07: Transfer to Kalimpong. Check into hotel. After lunch visit Zang Dog
Palri Fobrang Monastary, Thongsa Monastary. Visit the Local Market & Evening
walk.
Day 08: Transfer from Kalimpong to Airport to board flight.
