By Road – Agartala is well connected by bus with the major cities of North East India. Tripura State Transport Corporation buses are plying towards different plces of the North East. The state capital is also connected to international metropolis of Dhaka by Road. The journey is covered in 3 hrs. Guwahati is also at a distance of 600 kms. It can be covered by daily bus service in 24 hrs.

Local Transport – Unmetered taxis, autorickshaws and city bus service are available from Agartala Airport.
