It was the
headquarter of Maharaja (King) Rudra who renamed is as Krishnanagar from
‘Reuii’ and the city is situated at a distance of 118 kms from Kolkata. But
the most famous king from city is King Krishnachandra.
Krisnanagar is famous for its clay work.

(Kolkata). To reach this historic place other trains like Lalgola Passenger
and Berhampore Passenger are also available. |
