Situated at a distance of 8 kms from Raiganj, and 73 kms from Malda respectively. This bird sanctuary is a natural habitat for Open Bill Stork, Night Heron, Cormorant, Egrets, Kingfisher, Woodpeckers, Barbets, Jackal, Bengal Fox, Mongoose, monitor Lizard etc.

The sanctuary spreads at an area of 1.30 sq kms.
