Siliguri is
situated at a distance of 613 kms from Kolkata. This city is the gateway of
the North East India, Nepal, Bhutan & Bangladesh. This is the second largest
city in West Bengal. Siliguri is well connected with the other parts of the
country by rail, road & air.
To Reach
By Rail – The nearest major railhead of Siliguri is New Jalpaiguri (NJP),
which is well connected with the other parts of the country like Delhi,
Kochi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati etc. Siliguri has another junction station
through which the trains from Katihar, Luknow and Darjeeling pases by.
By Air – Bengal’s second airport is in Siliguri (Bagdogra airport).
Regular flights to and from are available for Delhi, Kolkata, Patna,
Guwahati.
By Road – Siliguri is well connected by bus to and from Kolkata,
